Ohh, and i forgot ! About Diamond, nobody read or commented about LB's link !!!! Well not really eh !!!! How funny !

Of course with the movie blood diamond, now pple are going to be a bit more responsive to the issue but in a couple of month everyone would have forgot about the on going problem that started .................... woooooooooooooooooooo ..... so long ago, way before us ! Do you really think all diamonds on the market come from "authorized" places even when it says so ? Please tell me you're not that naive !

Well yes I have some pieces like collar and around some of the hood o my jackets ! And YES it has softness, like no other meterial and it is also warm and comfy. I have a lot of skin allergies and fur, do not give me any when other types of fabrics even cachemire, Merino, angora, etc... the sotfest one do.

No I am not sorry to wear some but I don't think I'll ever go for a coat.

Although I do believe and think that the fur we use should be taken out of animals that are specially breeded (spelling sorry) for this purpose, like we do with the one we eat ! And find an extended use to the rest of them, like the oils, the meat, the skin, etc.....

I wonder sometimes how is it we feel so bad about killing an animal to simply feed our vanity (fur)... yet, we don't even twitch at the thought of killing an animal, for not much else than, to please our palates (too many things)

I think we can go around this in circles, but I agree... I think that right now, everyone's focus in North America especially in the US.... should be getting politicians to revisit the whole global warming issues and only the public has the power to force them... I think its really nice that we are at 10 degrees, but the truth is that it is very sad....

I dont like fur.... I think its a horrible luxury item...kinda like killing elephants for their ivory....not ethically right, now the diamonds...I dont owe any...but unfortunately yes, the whole "child labour" "slavery" issues that are very pertinent to this industry in third world countries needs to be looked at.... However, how do we know which diamond comes from where? At least its for sure that the animal someone wears as a coat was killed for that purpose...so its easier identified as BAD!.

FYI: Fur coats are still very IN, Ladies love them & we Auction at least 3 fur coats every year & they sell like crazy, we make good money on them.

Anyhow I'm not saying it's nice wat happens in the process to get the Fur coats, but again it doesn't really affect me personally.

LB- well they do destroy a good portion of the earth to dig that stuff up. But you don't see protests against the people doing the digging (at least i haven't seen any). So that must mean that people don't care as much.

The only time i have problems with diamonds is if they end up being a tooth accessory.
Plus, i think i'm more into the Swarovski. Those things sparkle!
