Heres my take on this...
I was brought up in ghetto areas ..**** i have nothing to hide...both here in toronto and when i went back to Ecuador......
Im sure many of all of ur familes who came a long long time ago to canada started up from scratch ...sharing basements..or living in ****ty subsidized housing...
unfortunetly selected people move out of the ghetto...some end up staying there....
My family and I have moved up in life.....just cause i grew up in ghetto areas ..doesnt mean i was involved in gangs dealt drugs etc..
You can say i learned some positive things from living in those ghettos like for example hmmm treating everyone equal...not thinking im of a higher class then the next person who mops the floor in the mall or makes minimum wage an hour....i was never brought up that way...and i always learned to view life differently ..

The other day I was having a debate with someone who had THE NERVE to call me a high class snob because I said that Privilege and Magnate and all those "fun" places are too ghetto for my taste!!!!

I agree! But that's just my taste. I've gone to Privilege a few times and i did have fun because of the people i went with, but the environment is not my style. I went to Magnate when it first opened and then i went back in the summer with a few foro members and all i have to say is.......NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
Altough i'm not into these kind of clubs, i can still have fun, BUT it's because of the friends i may go with. I don't go to pick up or mingle with the crowd. Anyhoo, i still choose not to go. I DON'T think i am a snob, in fact i know that i am not. I get along with everyone, whether they are ghetto or not.
I agree with Angelita. It all depends on the people you go with. If your with a good group of friends you will have a blast. And for me I don't really pay attention to how classy or ghetto a club is. As long as I've got my disco shoes and ruffled shirt I will dance the night away.

WELL, I THINK EVERYONE HAS A PECULIAR TASTE ON DA CLUBS THEY GO 2 . I MYSELF GO FROM THE MOST GHETTO BARS TO DA MOST CLASSY LOUNGES AND I ENJOY MYSELF IN BOTH. ALTHOUGH, I DON'T ALWAYS NECESSARILY LIKE THE PEOPLE DAT ATTEND THESE VENUES. I DON'T CONSIDER MYSELF GHETTO AND I DON'T SPEAK DAT WAY.
