He was young too!  I find 71 very young. Hubby's grandma passed away this wkend and she was 70.  It seems like they're still in their prime at that age.  my grandparents passed away into their 90s so I unno... what's the average life expectancy?

I know, so sad... I loooooooooved his Young Frankestein character. Every time I watched the Puttin' on the Ritz number, I couldn't stop laughing. I didn't really like him in Raymond 'cause 90% of the time I found him to be too mean, but he was great at it.

"Emmy-winning actor Peter Boyle, who played the dancing monster in the movie "Young Frankenstein" and grouchy father Frank Barone in the TV series "Everybody Loves Raymond," has died, his publicist said on Wednesday."

Too bad... I loved his character on "Raymond"
I remember watching the "making of.." for the last ELR episode, and thinking.. "this guy doesn't look so good" like a bit lost
