That science store infront of Yorkdale mall. Yes, that one with the huge telescope above.
They sell all kinds of telescopes and science kits for kids; they even sell chemical glassware such us burettes, beakers, pipetes,etc.
I got me some, and some astronomical charts. I believe you can find those rocks that you're looking for. I've seen kits that make crystals that look like quarz (cuarzo).

eaton center! last level close to dundas subway theres a sci-fi store they have some there if not theres another store in eaton center that carries them i know for sure!! my cuzin was doing a rock project (dont ask) and i took him there last year to buy them!
or if your in scarbrough don mills and eglington u can go to the science center store or if your down town u can go to the Royal Ontario Museum store and buy them there!! have fun
