Fresh air doesn't CURE yeast infections, antibiotics does. Nevertheless, the cause of yeast infections can be attributed to some serious moisture in your *ahem*. This is where underwear comes in. Doctors suggest wearing cotton panties because it doesn't trap moisture and clearly, neither does going commando. Nylon panties/stockings are deadly.
