Friday night I was in the mood to watch something girly, something romantic, but I wasn not in the mood to watch anything fluffy and idiotic. Anyway, going through TMN on demand I saw they had Tristan and Isolde and I started watching it more out of boredom than anything.
OH MY GOD! What a surprise I was in for. I looooooooooooooved this movie. It has all the ingredients of the best romances in history. I don't know how much of it is true, but the story is sooooooo beautiful and soooooooo sad, and for you boys, it has gore and fights and blood and men fighting for patriotism and heroes and all that jazz. It's a really, really good story, but the romance part of it is just so, so beautiful. I just can't say enough good things about it, I loved it so much.
If you're in the mood for a good chick flick that doesn't have Sandra Bullock or Kate Hudson in it, you should watch this. I give it 12 Irish pints out of 10.
