I know that in most cases.....celebrities adopt kids that they fall in love with while on their journey there doing some sort of a "good deed"......a kid will catch their attention and voila! ....adoption papers are on the way.....
I also think a 3rd world kid is in more need of shelter, food, education, healthcare than an American kid who has access to everything....and other luxuries....
Speaking of adoption.....I still want to adopt South Korean Twins....1 boy and 1 girl.....they just have to be really cute....other than that....I'm not picky.....

It really doesn't make sense to me why celebrities would adopt children from 3rd world countries. The adoption I understand but why target 3rd world countries? There are different ways to offer support and aid to 3rd world children, why does adoption have to be the answer? Especially when celebrities are constantly traveling and it will be carerakers who look after the kids anyway.
Something tells me that the adopted children will have difficulties growing up. Already they are in the spotlight and then they will have to deal with the public notion that their good fortunes are due to luck. Hopefully they will come out of it ok.

I think its good! most of the celebs adopting from these Third world countires have something more there like Madonna and her charity and her school and stuff, same as Angelina Jolie! I think that they should adopt why not its not like they are hiding it or hiding where the child came from! Same with Tom Cruise.
The people who are opposing the adoption should see how dumb they are being and how one child saved is a big difference not only that but im sure they will teach there children where they came from and how they can possibly help there country of origin!

I actually love the idea & would love too, agin it would come down to me & my hubby to decide if that's the best way for us to go or not.
I'm goin to be honest I would Only adopt a child that is from Ecuador, I think that if I can help a child & give them love, a home, etc. I would start with the children of my country.
I think they r doing a good thing for a child,. adn given example,. even if they do it just for publicity,.. (which I don't think is the case but we never know),..
I was thinking about this topic,.. but in a different view,. the other day I was telling someone that before having a kid (if one day i feel ready to be a mom),. that I would adopt,. even if i m healthy enough to have one on my own,. because why bring another human being to this world,. if there are so many kids without parents,.and she freaked out,. she is not aginst adoption but she said to me,. why would u do that if u r able to have kids in ur own,. and it won't be the same ,. and blah blah blha,. so i wanted to ask u,. WOULD YOU CONSIDER ADOPTION IN THE FIRST PLACE TO HAVE A FAMILY OR WOULD YOU WANT TO HAVE YOUR OWN KIDS???? WHY???
