Hmmm... I used to think this way I DON'T anymore Surprisingly, not so much "the piece of paper" but "marriage", the "promise" or whatever you want to call it, does have some weight in a relationship that if it were to hit a rough spot it would make it more difficult to walk away from It certainly adds a greater sense of commitment, I think
I AGREE.............................................................NOT TO GET MARRIED
LOL

MEH, marriage is overrated nowadays anyways. Common Law relationships are the new thing. It's about stability, love and commitment. You don't need a piece of paper and church bells to give you that.

I use to think just like all of you, why get married, its just a paper nothing will change. But now that I am preparing my wedding for next year, I am pretty excited, it will definatelly be one in a life time because if it does not work I will not get married again.
I think a wedding is a celebration of love and this is how I am seeing it. So I am happy I am getting married therefore I guess I do care.
If I had to leave single all my life, I would definatelly have a lot of fun.
Me and Orale have discussed this and were gonna be permenantly Engaged! So if and when we get engaged you will all be invited to a Ceramony not a wedding just a show of love and our commitment to eachother with no paper work and just a bbq party! And technically were common law married cuz we have been living with eachother a year and so right??

First of all, it would not bug me if i never got married again! If you and your significant other love eachother, marriage is not really important. It's just a piece of paper. Getting married is just an extra way of vowing eachothers love. What would bug me is if i couldn't hold a stable relationship.

It would not bother me it all, cause I think marriage is an institution, if u really love some 1 n want 2 be with that person it does not matter if u marry them or not, is what u feel for the person that counts, at list this is what I think..
No, it would not bother me, but i am married, and that does not bother me either. I like having a slave.

Would it bother you if lived the rest of your life single? No it wouldn't bother me Not to say that you wouldn't have a boyfriend or girlfriend, but never had the luck to find a person who would want to settle down. I don't mind having a boyfriend, but to be living with that person, no I don't think I'll be ready for that Would you enjoy your single life to the fullest or emotionally break down? I think I'll enjoy it to the fullest

I myself would have to enjoy my single life as best as I could, but deep down inside I would be upset or frustrated cause that just means my life will never have full stability. It would be one relationship after another and dealing with different womens attitudes or habits.
