Wow, good luck with that. I'm guessing you're going for the whole package then? Minivan, BBQ, patio set, outdoor lighting, lawnmower, etc...

Maybe you can get a discount....

That's what I thought, that he grew up in suburbia.
I seriously don't see the difference of living in either place. You just drive a little more, but that's no biggie.

After living in downtown for over 12 years I'm about to commit social and cultural suicide..........

......I'm moving to Mississauga!!!

Yes I'm turning in my proud 416er badge to become a 905er. Its only a matter of time before I start sporting a mullet haircut and wearing beaver canoe sweatshirts.

No more walking to starbucks or to terroni's, or kesington market. No more stumbling home drunk from the bars on King west or the Drake. No more spontaneous outings to arts or film festivals festivals.

Hello Mississauga -land of the malls and empty sidewalks.  The garbage bag trees and perfect lawns. I will now live by the car and will probably die by the car ....in big fat surburbia.

My lament on suburbia.

OMG... this is the funniest thing I've read since Phanta said Mississauga was the Soccer Mom capital of the world.  good great times.... JERKS!

Mississauga is WICKED beautiful.  Once you've settled into your red brick house, with black garage doors and white picket fence, you'll see that those "empty sidewalks" you referred to are filled with snot-nosed ankle biters which before you know it, you'll know all their names, meet their parents and attend the annual block parties.

Welcome to Suburbia, my friend.

Hey will all these foro members moving out to Mississauga (and those already residing in Miss. and BTown), we should have a PARTAY!  Ooohh... party @ Neruda's!

Living in the city is insanely crazy....if you're buying....but I'm sure you'll enjoy the peaceful city of Mississauga......it's a change!
