I used to steal mazapanes. That time in particular though, I was trying to "lift a magazine from the shop" (stealing sounds so harsh, hihihi but yah). But technically, I didn't steal it. Someone busted ma ass! Stupid undercover-shoplifting-busters dressed in civilian clothes!

the first time I stole something was when I was 12.  It was a lipstick for my best friend at the time.  It was her birthday and I wanted to get her something and didn't want to ask my mom for the money (don't really know why).  Anyways, we (my mom, sis and I) went to Woolco (does anyone remember this store) and I told my mom I wanted to check out the lipsticks.  So I found the one that I wanted and put it in my back pocket.  So we walk out of the store and I'm thinking SWEET... no one noticed.  WELL, a little while later I got a tap on the shoulder from some dude dressed in regular clothing and he said you took something from our store.  My mom looked at me like she was going to beat my ass down.  I, of course, DENIED DENIED DENIED, and the security guard said, I saw you put it in your back pocket.  So I took out what I had in my back pocket and it was my OWN lipstick (I had hidden the other lipstick somewhere else).  So at that point, he just let me go.

I'll never forget that.  It was my first shoplifting experience.

I think everyone must have stolen something from a store at some point.
If so what did you steal?

I used to shoplift when I was younger. Up until the age of 17.
Don't know why I did it, but I never got caught. It would be from small things like chocolate bars at dollars stores or convenience stores to clothes from the Bay and Eatons.
Ahhh the good ol days when you could only get a slap in the wrist and not do any jail time

Ditto!
