what's really sad is the many, many instances this must've happened (and even happened with this same judge) and nobody knows about them.
Ah, the system!
You want to know something funny and sad at the same time! One of our lawyers was representing this one client who had absolutly no chance of getting accepted. On the day of the hearing, the judge they had was in such a hurry to go home, since it was almost 4pm, that he granted the clients case! So now this client is legal in Canada because of this one judge (who will remain nameless) who wanted to leave early on a friday afternoon!!

I'm actually pretty shocked that they printed profanity on the CTV website... whether they are quoting someone or not... it's still not appropriate for a media outlet to do so.
"He might try to make trouble and say, `Oh yeah, this guy she ****ed was a judge. She ****ed him and that's why she is ****ing him and that's why he said yes'," Ellis said.
I was so shocked to hear this news today! I can't believe that an IRB judge would try to convince a Korean woman to sleep with him and approve her Refugee claim in return!!
I work in the Immigration building and i would see this Judge often. He would stand outside for a smoke, but i never really spoke to him. What a disappoinment. I have a lot of friends at IRB and i'm going to try and get the scoop today!
