It was ok, not too many people went to the festival. The place was not good soundwise (hockey arena). A lot of reverberation made the sound not to be well defined, so everything sounded like a wall of noise. Even if you had play at Roy Thompson Hall, you would have suck all the same
I'll try to go and see you this time,..who else is going???
Anyway,. I went to the Mosaico festival on Sunday,.. as Daeveed mentioned the sound was HORRIBLE,. u couldn't understand a word of the MC nor the bands performing,.
I have read Spin,. he is really good,. if u guys know about any of his performance please keep us posted,..
About the Mosaico festival,. I was impressed by the artist,.. their work was really nice,. I think there were like 2 painters and 2 photographers,. I really enjoyed their work,.It lack of organization,.. and publicity,. the main purpose and idea is nice,.. that they need to improve a lot,.
I arrived at about 3pm, hung out w the organizers for abit, then left... was gonna go back to check you guys play... but ended up staying home watching a boxing match... the guy that did spoken word was "spin" his stuff is dope... go to my space, he's on the front list.... listen to his stuff he did in Cuba and in Guatemala... blows ur mind away.
I am DYING to see this guy, but I've never had the chance to. I've heard really good things about him. Let me know if you find out where he will be next.
@ Daeveed: I don't think that Mosaico event was the "right fit" for you guys. IMO.
