I guess these next questions only the Media and Police can answer.....but hey....enlighten me....

1. Did he pose for that picture?

2. Why is his vampire website being advertised? I guess for awareness, but it just provokes curiosity......

3. And what kind of "slogans" was he supposed to be yelling during the shooting??

"Go ahead....make my day"?

This really sucks......I've gone to a highschool with many Gothic looking kids....and yes they were into their own world, came from the richest families in the area, did not speak with anyone who was not "part of them", did drugs, had weapons...etc....BUT from that "look" to actually comitting a crime....hmmmm.....this GILL character must have been really depressed.....and I think that's a worse condition than being angry.....since you actually don't give a "hoot".....

The Killer Who Brought Blood And Despair To A Montreal School Carried Out His Final Death Wish
The Killer Who Brought Blood And Despair To A Montreal School Carried Out His Final Death Wish
Thursday September 14, 2006
His name was Kimveer Gill and he apparently died the way he said he always wanted to - in a hail of bullets.

The 25-year-old Laval, Quebec man is believed to be the man who walked into a Montreal college on Wednesday and began randomly firing a rifle at staff and students.

When it was over, Gill and one of his victims were dead and 19 others would be struggling for life in hospital.

Gill kept an online blog at a vampire-related website, and it reveals a disturbed young man who despised the world and was obsessed with death.

"His name is Trench. you will come to know him as the Angel of Death," he wrote in his personal journal at vampirefreaks.com.

"Work sucks ... school sucks ... life sucks ... what else can I say? Metal and Goth kick ass. Life is a video game, you've got to die sometime."

He also related a wish to "die young and leave a mangled body". The 6'1" adult was heavily into alcohol and horror movies and lived with his mother. It's believed he borrowed her car to head to the campus.

In at least one message, he describes wanting to die like "Romeo and Juliet or in a hail of gunfire", while pointing out how much he hates everything in life - including life itself.

He also professes to have been a big fan of a video game called "Super Columbine Massacre" that depicts the killers from the infamous school shooting in Colorado back in 1999.

His last posting came at 10:41am Wednesday - just two hours before the gunfire began at Dawson College in downtown Montreal. It doesn't make any specific mention of what was about to happen, but it showcases a highly disturbed young man who was apparently ready to go over the edge.

Pictures posted to the website show Gill pointing a rifle at the camera, and noting "anger and hatred simmers within me". It was an anger police believe boiled over and emerged at the campus during the noon hour.

A man dressed in a long black coat and sporting a Mohawk arrived at the campus just after 12:30pm with a mission. He removed three guns from a car, one of them a semi-automatic rifle.

What happened next will be forever written in the memories of those who survived. The man began coldly and randomly shooting at anyone he could find, before moving inside to the cafeteria and more terrified targets.

He wounded at least 19 and killed one, a student identified as Anastasia DeSousa of Montreal.  Her age range has been given as between 18 and 22. Five of his victims remain in critical condition in hospital.

For at least 15 minutes, the gunman's rampage continued, as he took out his self-professed rage on anyone he saw.

Students fled in terror as word of his presence spread at the 10,000-strong campus.

Police would soon catch up to the killer, cornering him in the lunch room and demanding he put down his weapons. There are conflicting stories about what took place after that.

A terrifying but short battle saw authorities and the killer exchange gunfire - even as other rescue workers got trapped students to crawl on their stomachs away from the shooting gallery.

Police contend they shot the man and then dragged his body outside.

But other witnesses claim he was hit in the leg by heavily armed authorities before killing himself, refusing to surrender right up until the end.

Either way, it was over.

But the echoes of those ricochets will linger for years to come for those who experienced the horror.

"He looked really mad," recalled 17-year-old Mathieu Dominique. "He was really into (the) shooting. . . He looked like he really wanted to kill people. . . . It was like, bullet after bullet. It was like a burst - like at least six shots in two seconds."

Soher Marous recounted the description of many when asked about the gunman. "He had a stone-cold face, there was nothing on his face," the student remembered. "He didn't yell out any slogans or anything. He just started opening fire. He was a cold-blooded killer."

The scene was one of terrible confusion for hours, with reports surfacing that as many as four gunmen were roaming the halls of the school. That forced the shutdown of the busy subway for a time, as officials worried they'd make an anonymous getaway.

In the end, though, there was only one man behind it all. But the complete reasons for his final actions and why he chose Dawson College may have died with him.

The sprawling school, now a large crime scene, will remain closed until at least Monday.
