for example one day my ex told me he never been to Toronto Island, so i told him i was gonna be his guide, we decided on a day. And without him knowing, i cooked him something he likes to eat plus something he never eat before and took it.... and we made a lil picnic then we chill for a while

How about just renting a nice hotel downtown along the shore and make sure that they have strawberries and champagne before you get there. I've done quit a few things that are not the usual me. For example, if your man is sick, then make him Chicken soup and take it to him. In your case, if he's working then drive over to his work.
