It really sucks that I don't live in Toronto, I always miss all the fun.

I'll go through the website and I'll post my picks later. So many (good) movies, so little time...

Hurry before they sell out....as most have already....

The funny thing is they let you go through the entire credit card process and THEN they tell you it's sold out and better yet....you have to wait for a confirmation.....so you wont necessarily get your tix at that moment....

If anyone goes to see NEVER SAY GOODBYE....this Sunday @ 1:30pm......let me know.

@Lady Bug: did you get tix for Never say Goodbye? It’s on  Sunday 10th @ 1:30 pm

Yes....I'm so happy....I'm going to see it again for triple the price.....LOL

I'm glad it's at the Roy Thompson Hall this time.....

I also got tickets to see "EL Cantante"

Is there a listing of celebrity red carpet presentations....the who's gonna be where and when?

I'm feeling like a groupie all of a sudden....LOL

The Toronto International  Film Festival  will kick off today and after I went through the reviews and the directors, these are my picks:

-         Aronofsky’s The Fountain (His third movie after Requiem for a dream and Π)

-         Rescue dawn by Werner Herzog

-         When The Levees Broke: A Requiem In Four Acts  by Spike Lee

-         Hamaca Paraguaya (probably the first Paraguayan movie I’ve heard of)

-         The magic Flute by Kenneth Branagh

-         El Laberinto del Fauno by Guillermo del Toro

I also recommend  the version of Macbeth,  Renaissance,Tarnation and The Book of Revelation and Severance(supposed to be a good a black comedy),

If you want to see more unconventional  and experimental  movies: Zone of Total Eclipse , Schuzz  and any of the Midnight Madness movies….

if you have any other title you would like to recommend or want some info , let me know,

@Lady Bug: did you get tix for Never say Goodbye? It’s on  Sunday 10th @ 1:30 pm
