but i hope this helps.... shopgirl is about a girl that works at a shop selling guates and she meets this old guy that invites her to dinner in a very very special way... the old guy has his life on track and money,then she also meets this guy who is totally opposite to the old guy. she falls in love with the old guy (if i remember correctly), but at the end i don't remember what happens lol.... but it goes something like that.. i have the movie if u wanna see it

I saw Human Trafficking and it is quite scary and sad. But that's how fuct up our world is.

We rented ShopGirl last week. I thought it would be more comedic (and not because of Steve Martin) but it was too melodramatic than anything. It had it's funny parts but few and far between. The story could have moved a little faster at times. It's definitely a date movie.

Btw MC, if you want to see Steve Martin in a more serious role try Grand Canyon from '91.

I watched "Shopgirl" yesterday... it was very cute.... (yeah I kow, refer to the comunidad gay thread) but it was the first time I saw Steve Martin in a serious character and i really liked his performance...


I recommend this movie...


now regarding to this thread... yep, i'll check out the trailer when I get home...

This is a great and informative movie. It just shows how sick our world is. To those who have not seen it, do so. Movie is fairly long.
