Did you read the article?.. scary crap, if you own a home

tell me about it, the thing that i find interesting is that they don't say anything on how u can prevent something like this from happening to u, is like they don't know themselves

I always recommend for everyone to have bad credit
This way criminals won't have any funds available to steal from you.
It's pretty simple strategy

I'm out of luck on that one

X@vier

No problem my friend. I can assist you in getting your credit ruined.
I just need one of your credit cards. I will ruin your credit so bad that any criminal would be a fool for trying to mess with you

Speaking of scams
I remember reading in the paper yeeears ago when the GST was first implemented, this guy opened a construction company (supposedly) and had filed his first GST return with false expenses, for refund of about 1.5 million
Rev Can issued the cheque, he cashed the money and folded
I remember as I was reading this, I assumed he had to return the money somehow
He got sentenced to, if I remeber correctly, about a year....... but get this.... he could do 9 months instead, IF he RETURNED the money!
So basically he got 1.5 mil for spending 3 months in jail

I guess fraud is the way to go

Some people have so much luck. If I was a good scammer I would probably do the same. My name would be Hector Garza and I would do what this guy did with the construction company, make a little money off the government and open up a strip joint with the proceeds.

Ahh...Only in a perfect world

It's is meesed up and they should be panished, but I think more importantly they should be punished because it's messed up.

Ya I read it and heard of similar cases before.
Alot of people have had their homes sold without them even knowing and paying a mortgage that goes directly into some scammers bank account.
Kinda of scary cause the guy lives so close to where I live.
