I think it all depends on the situation. How a peson is treated throughout the whole experience. If it is a positive experience, then yes, it can turn a cold hearted person into a warm individual. But if its a sour experience then yes it can totally turn a person into a psycho. Look at all the threads about ex's and their psychotic ways.
