Thanks God, the pain of my Eva messages will be over very soon, either tonight if she gets eliminated or on Sunday Sep. 17 when they announce the winner.
She was simply amazing last night. The two boys shouldn't stand a chance, 'cause this girl is just unbelievable. Let's hope all the little girls who keep voting get it right and make her the next Canadian Idol. She truly deserves it.

On Monday, 8 pm on CTV cable 8, the 3 finalistas are singing Tony Bennet's songs. The 2 getting more votes (9 to 11 pm) go to final on Monday Sep. 11.
Eva will sing her best to make it to the final, and she's going to need a lot of votes!
This is what the people from CTV say about tomorrow:
"Canadian Idol's lucky Top 3 will get advice on singing the standards from the perfect candidate: crooner Tony Bennett, a man who began his career on a live talent show and remains in the spotlight at age 80.
Before appearing as the show's guest star on Sept. 4 and 5 (his first appearance on an Idol show anywhere in the world), the legendary Bennett will welcome the remaining competitors to the Big Apple. Once there, they will use him as a sounding board in preparation for a performance dedicated to songs he made famous in his long career.
His hits include "Because of You," "Rags To Riches," "The Good Life," "I Wanna Be Around," his signature song, "I Left My Heart In San Francisco" and many more. Over the years, Bennett has introduced a multitude of songs into the great American songbook that have since become standards for pop music."
Guys, she has a really good chance of becoming the next Canadian Idol. We should get EVERYONE WE KNOW voting for her Monday night. Just with the people that Colo and Zapato know phoning in, Eva should be able to slide easily into victory. Come on, guys, let's vote Eva to triumph!!!
If you wanna check out video footage of her in interviews and a few of her performances, check out...
Toronto, ON (August 29, 2006) – Canadians have become fanatical in their mission to choose the next Canadian Idol. After a record-breaking 4.3 million votes were cast last night – the most ever in the history of the series and an incredible jump of over one million compared to last week – Chad Doucette found himself at the bottom of the scorecard tonight. The 18-year-old high school graduate from East Chezzetcook, NS was eliminated from the competition during tonight’s live results show on CTV.
Now, only three remain in the quest to become the next Canadian Idol, representing Western Canada, Central Canada and Atlantic Canada. With voting up 40 per cent and audience figures up almost 10 per cent compared to last week, the buzz continues to build as the competition heats up leading up to Canadian Idol’s spectacular season finale in less than three weeks.
Ben Mulroney brought the final four competitors to centre stage: Eva Avila, 19, from Gatineau, QC; Doucette; Tyler Lewis, 20, from Rockglen, SK; and Craig Sharpe, 16, from Upper Island Cover, NL. Within minutes, Avila and Sharpe were told they were safe and that Lewis and Doucette were in the Bottom Two. Mulroney then informed Lewis, who was appearing among the bottom group of competitors for the first time in the competition, that he was safe as well, and that it would be Doucette who was going home tonight.
For the third week in a row, Canadian Idol attracted more than 2 million viewers (2.04 million, BBM Nielsen Media Research), becoming the most-watched program of the night in Canada and besting Prison Break (Global) by 16 per cent during the 8 p.m. hour. Canadian Idol remains Canada’s most-watched summer series in all demos.
