Sabes cuantas gente me a llamada hoy preguntando por el dicho Viewsat? como quisiera cambiar 50 coolsats que tengo en storage por 50 Viewsats ahorita.. una antena de 33' te cuesta $65 con lnb, una de 39' en $85 que es mucho mejor recepcion..
Hugo, el twinhan DVB-s es un FTA DVB card, la puedes usar para captar Galaxy10r, pues un receiver que conecta a la pc y funciona igual que el receptor, lo unico que tienes que andar el laptop prendido cada vez que quieres ver tv...
Si la resolucion fue a favor de TV Chile Internacional, porke entonces estamos aun esperando?
Como lo han hecho los portugueses, Italianos, Polacos y Ucranianos?

@HUGO I looked it up some more and they do have some tv tuners for sat it looks good because they have a free-to-air one so u might be able to get the free channels with it but u would still need to the the antenas.

Si colocan un systema Free To Air y apuntan al satellite Galaxy10R , pueden agarrar Univision, Telefutura y Mas Musica(similar a HTV) completamente GRATIS y LEGALES, sin ningun costo mensual ni anual, solo el receptor fta y una antena de 33' en up....
esto de las peticiones es una perdida de tiempo, porque aunque aprueben los canales nunca los ponen ya que despues viene TLN y elvira y piden que no los pongan
Al final sale mejor el satelite ya que te dan mas canales en espanol y muy pronto vendran los canales por intenet asi que SE JODA ROGERS y todo el sistema canadiense

que vos veas tv Chile via satelite, no significa que tv Chile este en Canada. lo que se pide en esta licencias son para que via , Rogers , videotron Shaw etc puedas ver tv chile ( pagando ) por ahora, sin nesecidad de Satelite ( cosas que estan prohebidos ) ya que ni Directv ni dishnetwork tienen licencia para Canada.
la idea de votar por estos canales es para tenerlos en Canada , cuantos mas canales alla mejor.

On 24 November 2000, the Commission approved a Category 2 specialty television service to be known as TV Chile Canada. The terms and conditions generally applicable to Category 2 services are set out in the public notice accompanying this and other decisions released today.
Conditions of licence
The licence, when issued, will expire 31 August 2007 and will be subject to the following conditions as well as to those set out in both Public Notice CRTC 2000-171 and in the licence to be issued.
Nature of service
a) The licensee shall provide a national ethnic Category 2 specialty television service consisting of programming directed to Hispanic/Spanish-speaking audiences. Programming will be derived primarily from the Chilean based government owned international general interest service known as TV Chile Internacional.
b) The programming must be drawn exclusively from the following categories, as set out in Schedule I to the Specialty Services Regulations, 1990: 1, 2a, 2b, 3, 4, 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, 7e, 7f, 7g, 8a, 8b, 8c, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14.
c) No less than 85% of all programming broadcast during the broadcast week shall be in Spanish.
Advertising
With respect to the condition of licence relating to advertising, as set out in the above-noted public notice, the Commission approves the following:
* condition 4d) with respect to national paid advertising will not apply.
* condition 4a) will be replaced by:
Except as otherwise provided in subparagraphs b), and c), the licensee shall not distribute more than 12 minutes of advertising material during each clock hour, no more than 6 minutes of which may consist of local or regional advertising.
Definitions
Broadcast day shall have the same meaning as that set out in section 2 of the Television Broadcasting Regulations, 1987.

Sabes que sucedio con la misma peticion el ano pasado para TVN (Chile)? No hubieron suficientes firmas o que? La comunidad chilena en Canada es inmensa y TVN es uno de los mejores canales de Latinoamerica, su programacion incluye desde documentales a late shows, que pudo haber pasado? Habra posibilidad de reaplicar? Quien determina los canales propuestos? Espero puedas responderme. De antemano muchisimas gracias
