@ MJ, well no alcohol because, as per I presume on Thursday when he caled me, he is muslim so I don't think it will be appropriate.

@ LB, I already have the thank you card and yes movie passes sound like a great idea.

Why do I want to give the guy something, well, definitively not because I havd to but I think that would be nice, that's it.

When I returned a cell phone a couple of days ago, I did not get anything in return nor was I expecting it. The guy gave me his business cards and he's in the computer business, so he said any time I need computer services, dont hesitate to call. And plus, he could have son you know.

Ya, older people may get immature sometimes, but i can already tell by the way you speak, what kind of immiturity level you are at!!

Now using that profane language as a expression, shows me how much you need to grow up and go back to school! If you are talking to me and using that kind of language, then ya, i will take it as you are directing it to me!!

LOL so you do walk around with bling bling!! Oh please! Whethere it's gift or not, i don't care what you are wearing!!

WOW, i didn't know that there was a competition between ME and YOU! I don't ever recall you stomping on my ass! But ok, if that's what makes you shut up, then whatever floats you boat!

I on the other hand, do not care or ever wish to meet and talk to you, let alone, coverse on el foro with you! I don't play these stupid games!! Grow up and move on!

You sure you 24 yrs old?? I have a 24 yr old cousin and he is way past your immaturity level! I think you are still stuck back in the 90's!!

20$ !!!! for going out of the way to drop off a cell for some unknown person........

b**** plz!!!! lol

OK there little boy......... first of all, he lived down the street, but he never did tell me who he was. I am always nice to all my neightbours. We give them vegetables from our garden or we invite my neighbours to our BBQ....etc!! For all i know one, of our guest could have been the one to return my cell phone!! My friends know that i am good at heart and can go out of my way for others!! And well $20 is the least that i would given him if it were one of them and YES if it were a stranger, i would have just probably given him $20!!

NOW, i suggest you clean your foul mouth. I never came in here and used profane language at you! Oh wait, maybe in your terms.........."i did not use swear words". I'm telling you little boy, no me busques!!

Misplacing your belongings at malls are the worst   It's happened to me but been fortunate enough to run back and recover it

We actually had an incident that our parrot flew away and over the neighbors house...Parents let her out on the porch and for some reason Paquita (lora) got scared and off she went.  We looked for her for hours and no word or sign.   Next day lil kid which delivers papers found her and we ended up giving the kid $60 bones it was worth it

you shold just go with $50 1x$10 2x$20 and ask him if you can give him some money.  Start off small like $30 but if you feel like he deserves more.. pull of the rest and give them $50.  Most people won't want anything in return.  I've returned things and people ask if i wanted money or something and i said NO.  So when i lost my phone one time i did the same and he said he did't want anything either.  Usually it's just nice to know you were willing to give them something.

Did you not read the part where I said I've returned things (even mailed them out) and gotten nothing, NOTHING, in return!

Or maybe I'm just cheap...

Not so sure one thing has anything to do with the other, I don’t expect anything or ever got any compensation either (I don’t think). Actually I’m quite embarrassed whenever I receive anything (not sure why)
But I DO feel compelled to show some sort of gratitude in a case like this
What else than a gift or money?
I think it’s fair to show it to someone that has returned something that is worth at least a couple  hundred dollars, or a few hundred in lost time trying to retrieve all the numbers, or potentially a few thousands in lost business (assuming you use your phone for business)

But that’s just me, you cheapo!
