I can also give you the name of the moving consultant that is helping me.The company is not cheap in fact one of the most expensive but I got excellent references and you have to go with a very well know moving company that you can trust and the first thing is to get estimates on the weight and check the company on the BBB website.

About the healtcard and licences you have to change them there, for the health card there is a 3 months wait period and ontario health will cover you and then you will get your MSP card.

where do you want to live?

I will live in downtown but it is expensive the best area there is the west end very close to english bay , it is beautiful there and very close to the beach. There a 1BR apart. is aorund $1,000 a month but you get something cheaper if you look around.
