Girl..which Motorola you talking ? the MOto Q? that works with Rogers?>???????????
The Q is only on Telus right now, they dont make a GSM (sim cards) version yet. The treo 600 was awful but the 650 and 700s are not bad. The berries are not worth it unless you actually use the email like I said. What exactly (features wise) is it that you are looking for in a phone? Is it the keyboard, the large screen? PDA features? If you tell me what you plan on using it for I can probably give you some more info.
Oh and the reason why they always say you HAVE TO sign up for the data plans is cause the sales rep makes a lot more money on the data plans than the voice plans alone so they push them hard.

Anyone works or knows anyone who works for Telus Mobility?
Im planning to buy a phone and would like to know more of the plans. I called Telus Mobility and they assured me that all blackberry's you must register with E-mail and Web Plan . ANd if you want Voice that would be another package. There is a package when you get Email, WEb & Voice but can be quite expensive, if you go over the limit with ur MB.
..im planing to get the Treo 650!
i know this cuz of my bfs sister but with Telus you pay extra for blackberrys for the internet it is like 40bux extra not like Rogers or bell where its by the time u have used! look into it carefuly i tell u cuz she signed up and found that out after!!
Not so. Blackberry plans are pretty standard across the board. Telus, Bell and Rogers all pretty much offer the same data plans: $40 - 1MB/mo Data Transfer/Mo which is approx. 20 emails per day $60 - 30MB/mo which is a crap-load of emails per day on top of that you ad your regular voice plan, ($35 for 300 daytime + eve&wknds or whatever) If you DO NOT subscrive to one of these plans then you get charge by the usage. on ALL 3 companies. So if you are planning to use the email/web you are better off having a data plan. You dont HAVE to have a data plan if you dont want to (price of the hardware tends to be more in that situation), but then what you basically have is a very ugly calculator looking phone that doesnt do much else.
The truth i dont plan on using it on E-mail and Web Plan ...as much...I asked for just a voice plan but they said that i was reequired to have a email and web plan..and lowest is 25 and then i can get the voice plan for i think Sparks Talk 30.....i just thought i could just use it for Voice Plan.....
