IM NOT MARRIED, NOR DO I LIVE WITH THE "WIFEY", BUT WE'VE SPOKEN ABOUT HOW THINGS ARE GOING TO BE ONCE WE GET MARRIED. [ie. CAR, BILLS, MORTGAGE ETC.]
IT'S BEST IF THINGS ARE DISCUSSED AND PUT ON THE TABLE PRIOR TO MARRIAGE OR COMMON-LAW LIVE IN, SIMPLY BECASUE MONEY IS A VERY TOUCHY TOPIC. THERE ARE CERTAIN RESPONSABILITIES THE GUY MUST TAKE AND OTHER THE WIFE MUST TAKE. AT LEAST THAT'S HOW IT IS BACK HOME.
I'm with Dogo on this one. All of the planning in my case came before the wedding. Lucky for us we purchased the house 1 year before getting married so we had that expense figured out and taken care of. The stressful part was planning the wedding and after party. The day of the wedding after it was all done we just relaxed and took a breather for about 3 hours because we felt a big weight was lifted off our shoulders. We did talk about our future that evening just like anyone would, but the major planning was done before the wedding.
well does going to african lion safari and niagara falls for the weekend count as a mini honeymoon???? staying at a nice hotel and spending time together???

Is it only applied to Married Couples??
I mean when i was with my ex hubby u know how things were and how it happened!
But now with Orale we have it all planned out from who pays the car to the insurance to how we buy groceries and basically on how our RRSP account looks
We do dream together were gonna buy a house have kids in the next two years and we have our puppy now and yeah basically everything we have is split like any married couple would do!
The vacation part I get......but do couples actually sit there and "dream" and plan out their "roses filled, kumbaya days"? .....before reality hits of-course.....that's what I'm asking.....
Do you actually sit there and talk about how many kids you're gonna have, if you want a pet, the house and the furniture, the bills, the in-laws....etc..e.tc...etc.
Well.. we have already talked about the kids, the house, the bills and all the other stuff that comes after the wedding... We figure out who's handling what and so forth...
Now on the honeymoon part.. I just want to RELAX... the last couple of weeks before the wedding is CRAZY... so many things and details that come up.... I look forward to a nice "vacation"....

Personally, it did not apply to us because we've already been living together for some years prior the "I do" thingy so all of that was already taking care of.
Even the kids part ..... you've meet them, I don't know why you are still afraid of them
