I contacted TH about the pic. situation and they clarified everything and even apologized....they asked me to hand in any pics that I might have, because they will gladly post them...but I think the "hype" of the review is all over.....I mean how many people actually look at the reviews and the pictures more than once?
Have them include some in the next edition of the TH Magazine

RICKY & LEX: YOU 2 NIGGAS ARE DOING YOUR THINGS DONT LET SMALL TIME MEDIA GET TO YOU, THERE ARE BIGGER AND BETTER THINGS WAITING FOR YOU AROUND THE BEND. In this particular case I find it very odd that there was no picture of Ricky (wearing his Mexican jersey) posted in the photo gallery of the Festival......simply because we saw the reporter there and she was taking pics...and knows of Ricky very well and I even spoke with her.....so I don't know what happened ....I mean if they need pics I will gladly give them a few.....(and they know that)......
I will let TH know about this for sure.....and eventhough "as a manager" I'm not happy about that......I also have no complaints because they have supported Ricky ALWAYS......so I'm sure there's a good reason for this.....
It just sucks not to see his pictures after they wrote about him and he represented his country the weekend OF his country.....and as the biggest local act there.....not to mention that this was a "big deal" of a show for the band (and the Latin community) in such a popular annual City event.....

Its sick to see the lack of respect we artist in Toronto get from promoters and some media in our own community, I have even said no to a few big events base on there actions by saying but you are a local artist. All I can say to all the artist here is that yes Toronto is a good practice ground until doors else where open and please no disrespect intended to the fans and those that enjoy what we do, I’ve been in the music industry in T.O for so long and it has always been the same and I don’t see it changing any time soon.
Don’t stop fighting and always dedicate the time to make sure that your put out is always 100% and nothing less because that goes a long way.

Where is miss DivaLatina78, BTW ??? She needs to pass the pics around. I've seen the foto girl from TH when the P-Crew was performing and she took some pics, I wonder how did they come out.

The photgrapher was there.....I saw her.....she even had a permit to take pics from upfront like any MEDIA......so I'm not sure what happened there....she did cover the rest of the event pretty well......
If anything, I would figure they would go all nuts with Ricky pictures since it was focus on MEXICO year.....and he's MEXICAN....and was wearing a MEXICAN jersey.....and he was the biggest local act to be there this year...... plop! LOL
Also it was not mentioned....that the MC was "Amanda Martinez" .......and she did a good job!
There are no pics of Alex Cuba either and he looked good.....performed better....lol...Juno award winner......
I also don't see pics of BOMBA......or a mention.....

So Ricky got a standing ovation and a long "OTRA" chant for his performance @ Harbourfront (Ritmo y Color) last Friday night on the main stage......but according to the MC and stage manager....they were on a tight schedule......so this big "OTRA" chant was followed by a long booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo................LOL
Funny enough.....SIERRA MAESTRA...the group that followed Ricky.....got an "otra" chant as well.....and they went on to sing 2 more songs.....I guess because they were the last act on the main stage.....BUT STILL!!
I'm sure if it was a "bigger act".....they would have given him the extra 3mins....because literally that's how long the songs are 3-4mins......needless to say I was not happy.....
Pictures of the festival are up on the TH homepage......but I didn't see any of Ricky
