For 2 main reason I think

1 - Because the Angels are proving the cops that it is not that hard to get some achievement. In other words, guys, move you big fat blue a$$$$$$

2 - Like Biana said, you never know "THis could be another conduit for criminals to infiltrate, gain people's trust....and then screw them big time!!!"

I imagine the police don't want to work with them because of the risk they will turn into a group of vigilantes.

Their goals are admirable, but the police (professionals) exist for a reason. On the other hand, if you really want to volunteer in that line of work, the metros have a (trained) auxiliary corps.

I don't see much use for them.

HOW DO THE GUARDIAN ANGELS OF TORONTO OR IN ANY STATE FOR THAT MATTER GET PAID...???

ARE THEY GOVERNMENT FUNDED OR AN INDEPENDENT PROGRAM THAT HAS GROWN...???

DOES ANYONE KNOW...???

I think this could be quite beneficial to the city. However, if these Guardian Angels aren't careful themselves then won't their life be in danger too???

I agree its nice people actually do this. I feel for the women that have lost there lives or have been raped because of some nutcase on the street. Keep up the good work Angels

Hopefully it will have the same success here in Toronto.
