BRAIN CRAMP!!!!!!!!!!! GO FUNKY MONKEY JUNKIE!!!!! I like! Yes.....You got it!!! But I didn't use Daeveed's theory e=mc2+pi!! I just drew a bus and a little stick man walking!!! And you timed him, eh? hihihihihihihi How many times are you supposed to say HI??!! NO!! I drew a bus and wrote 9km/hr underneath it and drew the guy with 3km/hr written underneath. Then I came up with some numbers and VOILA!!! All my exams had drawings on them. I'm not smart enough to come up with formulas. Now go answer your hubby's question!!!
But smart people already came up with the formulas.

There goes my theory!!

Barney Dribble was going on a one-way bus trip. He intended to ride for a certain distance, get off the bus, and walk back to town. If the bus travels at a rate of nine kilometers per hour and he was to walk back to town at a rate of three kilometers per hour, how far would he ride so that he'd be back in eight hours???
Let me ask you this, if the bus travels at 9 km per hour, how many kilometres would it travel in one hour? ooohhh aaahhhhh.
The speed of the bus is 3 times the speed of the person walking.
Simple physics state that: V = D/T (Speed equals distance over time)
Therefore:
The time travelled by foot (Tw) equals 3 times the time travelled by bus (Tb).
(Tw = 3Tb)
and total distance is the sum of both (T = Tb + Tw)
Therefore:
If the total time is 8 HRS,
8Hrs = 3Tb + Tb
Tb = 2hrs,
therefore the distance on the bus (Db) is
Db = Vb*Tb
Db = 9Km/h * 2Hrs
Db = 18 Kms
the person must ride the slowest bus on earth for 2 Hrs, which will mean a distance of 18Kms that the person will have to travel by foot on the way back.

Shouldn't he just stay in town, since he has nothing to travel for? Why waste time? I'd tell Barney Dribble to just stay put and travel Zero km and not have to walk for 8 hours.
Have you noticed that most people named Barney are kinda not all there?
