I don’t think the ref was biased, otherwise he wouldn’t have sent off the Italian player so early… on a play that was barely a yellow (if that)

Honestly, I saw it as a penalty, and automatically thought “Penalty!” at first glance…. On the replay it is clearly not a penalty
But it’s a split second decision, the ref is not watching it on TV. These mistakes are easy to make… that’s why not always the best team wins, but the one who makes the goal does. Which is part of futbol itself, I suppose
Clearly LUCK is many times a great factor for the Italian team (as it is for Brazil, I find) but hey…. Part of the game, I guess

This is why I really think it should be the best of three, or a “home and away” games, doesn’t seem fair that you’re out after ONE loss, but that’s a different topic

It is a strange game. The broadcasting on Terra is without any stadium background sound so it seems pretty dead.
