how can anyone put down Numark?  http://www.numark.com/


I used to have a pair of CD-X's when they first came out ($1,500 each) and let me tell you NOTHING COMPARES TO THEM!!!!  http://remixmag.com/specialreport/CDX/   I've tried alot of them; Stanton; Pioneer; And nothing comes even close!!  Before that, I owned a pair of simple Numark cd decks and they were good.  The only problem I would ever bring up about Numark, is the durability.  They do seem to have a couple of problems, if you use them too excessively.  But then again, this type of equipment has to be "babied".  You don't want just anyone to use it or you might end up having to have them repaired.

Numark used to be a top brand in the industry but I haven't kept up to make a proper evaluation.

This is a cool thing to have at home for a get together and that kind of stuff, if you dont have DJ equipment.  It is very limited and not 100 % reliable, especially being a Numark, but should be fun to have around for BBQ season this summer!


If I could get this to patch in to my sound dystem in the car, and powered through the power outputs in my car, then this would be THE THING for me to have.. DJing in the car, SICK!


What do you guys think, can it be setup that way in the car?

Not sure but DJ Depot sells the first generation iDJ for $249 so I would assume it's probably more but not unaffordable.
