Guadalupana is right, because of the caffine content it does tend to excellerate dehydration slightly.  So a glass of water will help cope for any loss.

That's one thing I would never even ATTEMPT to quit. I've been drinking coffee since I was born. Instead of being breastfed, my mother would put a little bit of breast milk in my coffee. That's how addicted to coffee I am. Although I only drink the one cup in the morning, but I could never quit.

For me, its the booze, when ever its been a heavy night of drinking, and the hangover is killing, I always swear off alcohol for a while, but it never seems to work.  So I have quit quiting on drinking.
