I don't know him but the very few times I crossed his path he seemed like a really nice guy. He was pretty funny too.

I I want to say that before it was not so much violence like now., clubbin was fun and it was a bit crazy at times but i used to enjoy myself very confident that i would go back home safely. Now in this last 2 years you have to wonder if to go out or not i dont really know the man that died buti feel bad "cause it was just probably cause of an argument they took his life away., who knows if this man had a family or a good life., or he was just sad that is why he went out to have a ggod time for himself. At the end of everything going clubbin in a spanish place it aint save no more havin a bit of fun after in an after hours is worse now cause who knows if you will come out of there alive or not. just wanting to say what i had in my heart may the soul of that man that died rest in peace and all my condolence to their families

Web clues in club shooting mystify police

Toronto police said yesterday that they have pictures of a man they suspect shot another man dead in an illegal after-hours club on Weston Road early Saturday morning.

They just don't know who he is, Detective Sergeant Gary Giroux told a news conference at police headquarters.

He said that witnesses in the community directed police to an Internet site on which the photographs of the suspect were posted.

The suspect, described by the police as a Hispanic in his late 20s or early 30s, is "extremely, extremely dangerous to the community. He is a high-risk to reoffend violently," Det. Sgt. Giroux said.

The suspect is wanted in connection with the shooting of Gabriel Jaramillo, 22, just before 6 a.m. Saturday in an after-hours club at the rear of 1806 Weston Rd., near Lawrence Avenue West.

"The deceased was involved in a physical fight within the premise of the after-hours club, not with the shooter, with another male, who had been in the company of the shooter throughout the evening. The shooter intervened in the fight, and shot the deceased a number of times at extremely close range," Det. Sgt. Giroux said.

Mr. Jaramillo was pronounced dead at the scene, and an autopsy performed yesterday morning concluded that he had died of a gunshot wound to the head, Det. Sgt. Giroux said.

The shooter and his friend were last seen on Weston Road.

According to the police, the suspect who fired the shots has a dark complexion, is 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 9, weighs 180 pounds, and has a thin nose, thin face, slight goatee, dark curly hair and tattoos with the word "libertad" on his arms, chest and the back of his neck.

His friend is described as a Hispanic in his late 20s or early 30s, 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 9, 200 pounds, lighter complexion than the shooter, wider face, big build, muscular, with a long, dark-brown ponytail just below the collar and one earring.
