oh well then that means you hate me. Yes i booked to go to Algonquin way back in February.

Sorry to say this but, you snooze you lose.

I always ALWAYS book at the begining of the year, that way you're guaranteed ANY site you may want.

I'd suggest you call the park you want to go to, maybe they have something left that won't see online, you never know.

Good luck

We just came back from camping at Killbear. I found the last site out of 200+, 'cause the friggin' place books up for the entire summer 6 months in advance. And I can see why. This place is gorgeous! The beach is amazing and it's just beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I highly recommend it. It's not so far from Toronto, about 3 hours north west of the city, on Georgian Bay, near Parry Sound. Great camping site.

We want to go campinhg far this year, and we've heard wonders about that area in Ontario. Thanks for the tips, though.

All my life I have only gone camping there.....so I really thought it was the only place......after I read this post of course....LOL

I don't go camping anymore because there is no A/C

It's a huuuuge park so even if you don't find a site, you can sneak in and spend the night.....the nicest thing is all the tents around the lake at night with all the camp fires lit.....

I hate doing this!!! I was booking and it showed that all the sites were available. It took me all morning to find a campground/site I liked and when I tried to make reservations, it's all booked for the ENTIRE SUMMER! What's the dealio with that? We're dying to go to friggin' Killbear Provincial Park 'cause everyone says it's so nice blah blah blah and now it doesn't look as though this is happening... Has anyone been there? Any good/bad reviews/tips?
