Here is the latest..


 


The union representing 8,500 Toronto Transit employees has agreed to end its work stoppage.


The decision follows a ruling by the Ontario Labour Relations Board, upholding an earlier ruling that the work stoppage is an illegal strike. The Board is standing by a cease and desist order it issued this morning.


Union local president Bob Kinnear  says he will ask his members to return to work tomorrow. The TTC says that under the Labour Relations Board ruling, service must resume immediately, but Kinnear says it will be this evening before he tells his members to return to work.

Actually it will not be running like normal at all by 5:00.  The buses should be running by then but as for the subway it's only the Bloor/Danforth line that will be running....Younge/university/spadina line will not be running until later on
