I am telling you guys, they are a cool band.  Last time they were here the after party was at Latitud Zero and we chilled out and drank with them all night long.  I believe this time they are going to party at Suba right after the concert.  I will try to pass by, but I would have to leave by 9 ish so I am not sure as of yet.

Honestly, you guys have probalbly heard the songs "Me Late" "Parate Y Mira" "Caliente" "Waiting" y "Pupilas Lejanas", at least those are my favorite songs from them that I can remember right now.  They are a fun band to see live....


Good luck with the show if I cant pass by Marce, if I do... I will call you and save me unas frias!

Biografía de Los Pericos


Los PerícosMás de dos millones de discos vendidos y mil doscientas presentaciones en vivo, consagran a Los Perícos como una de las Bandas más Importantes en la historia del reggae / Rock Latino.

LOS PERICOS, se forman en 1986, transformándose en la primer banda de Reggae de Argentina.

En 1988 lanzan su primer disco, "Los Perícos". Sus ventas alcanzan 180 mil placas y lo convierten en el disco más vendido del año otorgándole el título de Triple Platino.

Ya en 1989 graban King Kong. Fue al año siguiente cuando sacan su tercer disco de estudio Rab a Dab Stail. De aquí en más comenzarían con un sinnúmero de shows en el interior de Argentina, destacándose las presentaciones en el estadio Luna Park de Buenos Aires.

En 1993; lanzan su 4º álbum, Big Yuyo. En él, Los Perícos muestran un sonido con identidad propia y contundente. La repercusión en toda Latinoamérica es una clara muestra de ello.

Ese mismo año Los Perícos son invitados a participar de la 6ta. Edición Internacional Festival Reggae Sunsplash que se realiza anualmente en Jamáica, regresando al año siguiente y siendo los encargados de cerrar la World Beat Night. Ahí Rita Marley los invita a los estudios Tuff Gong Records, donde grababa Bob Marley.

Con el lanzamiento de Pampas Reggae, las giras por Latinoamérica y USA se suceden.
A esta altura sus discos llevan vendidos más de un millón de copias en todo el mundo.
En ese momento Los Perícos lanzan su sexto trabajo Yerbabuena que fue editado en simultáneo en toda Latinoamérica, Estados Unidos Y España.

Durante el mes de marzo, Los Perícos junto a Stewart Coppeland grabaron el tema Darkness, con el que participaron como única banda latina invitada, en el álbum Tributo Reggae a The Police.

El año 1998 comienza con varias presentaciones por Centroamérica destacándose el Festival Experiencia Roja en Caracas, presentándose ante la cifra record de 180.000 espectadores.

A mediados de julio comienza la grabación del próximo disco en su propio estudio Robledo Sound Machine. Nuevamente se dirigieron a Caracas, pero esta vez al festejo de los 50 años de la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos (en el aeropuerto de la Carlota), organizado por Amnesty International.

La Presentación de disco Mystic Love, logro un Sold Out absoluto en plazas nacionales e internacionales. Por 1ra. Vez un grupo argentino se presenta en Toronto y Montreal (Canadá) donde Los Perícos sacuden a las críticas.

Comienza el año 2000, y Los Perícos se presentan en el Estadio de River Plate festejando la llegada del nuevo milenio frente a 75.000 personas.


Los Perícos comienzan a mezclar el primer disco en vivo, titulado 1000 Vivos en homenaje a las 1008 presentaciones que el grupo tenia realizadas hasta el momento.
Ya en el 2001 continúan las presentaciones a lo largo de todo el continente y son invitados para cerrar la edición del Vive Latino de ese año continuando su participación en tal prestigioso festival hasta la edición 2005.

Durante el 2003 Los Perícos fueron los encargados de cerrar una de las noches del Quilmes Rock Festival y se presentaron en el Estadio Luna Park logrando cuatro Sold Out.

En el 2004, la banda argentina con 17 años de exitosa trayectoria, vuelve a sorprender
Con aires de total renovación, estimulados por el inicio de una nueva etapa de cambio y desafió, se presentan en vivo con un esquema mas compacto, acentuando su formato reggae–rock.

A mediados del 2005 lanzan su nuevo álbum titulado “7” editado por Universal Music
Con más de 100 presentaciones en los últimos meses cruzando Argentina, México, Uruguay, Ecuador, Puerto Rico y Perú Los Perícos consolidan su posición como una de las bandas más importantes de la escena musical de Latinoamérica.

I don't mind having ppl....the only problem is that the patio closes @ 11PM and if we make too much noise after that time I get ticketed....(fakking downtown biatches) unless we go somewhere else after 11...
