Flooring sucks though (unless you do the prefinished stuff)... and taping!!! oh fAck! does that ever suck!!... I like everything else though

LOL........yup flooring is a longgggggggggggg task ! That why we left that one to the man of the house

I thought I liked home Renovations until I got to the second room in my house- putting down flooring and realized I had 6 more rooms to go.

Now the thought of even putting up blinds is annoying to me.

You're right ! I had a lot of fun and I have to say that so far I can't complain about body pains but I am sure that it will be another story tomorrow

it's always good to become a handy-person. i learned a lot building my old office. it was actually a lot of fun... back-breaking and tiring but fun

OMG, I think that soon I'll be opening my own bizz

For the past 2 days, I have been putting down old drywalls from a ceiling and changing bags of insulation materials and finally puting some new back up. Using the drill to fix it was so much fun ....... lol

Preparing the walls, filling the holes, sanding, puting coats of primer and finally.........painting them ! Lots of memories. I have to say that doing it on perfectly smoth walls and not wih the "enjare" finish is sooooooooooo much easier !
