I dont handle compliments very well. I almost always change the subject quickly...
I know a couple people that are like this... Never understood the logic behind it though. A compliment is nothing to be scared of. Embrace your hotness is what I say.

Hummm I so don't do that unless it's a good friend. Like if one my close friends says "nice SHOES" and I got them at like winners I'll say "OMG Nine West but only 40.00 bucks at winners" and she will say "OMG no way...lucky b!tch"
If it's not a good friend then I don't give away my source because I dont like having the same things as everyone else so I keep the source a secret!! Same reason I won't buy shoes at Aldo or shop at like Urban behaviour.
If it's a guy I just say thank you unless he is gay and then I say the source.

well see, if a guy is complementing me I usually say thank you..
but if a girl likes something I'm wearing then I do tell them where I got it... I don't tell them how much it cost me though.
