cuando naci mi madre quiso llamarme alex pero mi padre se le adelanto y antes de que ella saliera del hospital el me puso el nombre de Hector, a mi madre no le gusto y dijo que no importa ella me llamaria Alex, yo no supe que mi nombre era Hector hasta cuando cumpli los 10 aņos. La razon porque use Bello en ves de Peņa es porque aparte de que llego el apellido, es mucho mas facil venderme con ese nombre.
pero si era siempre conosido como Alex Peņa Bello

Well i really went all out on this album, i said from the beginning this would be a very personal album, I don't think any of the bachata artist out there have been so involved in the entire process like, Writing, Arranging, Mixing the Music, I even took all the pictures that you will see in my 16 page booklet inside, not only that in the booklet you will also have poems that will explain why is the Album title Abreme Tu Corazon and what brought me to write these songs.
At the same time this album was self produce with the help of a few great co-producers like Ricky Franco, Gerardo Brizuela, Nano Paredes y David Paredes and all expenses paid by ARL Records our record label.
And i cut my hair every week at La Plaza Latina on Milvan and Finch. Alberto Barbershop.

Yo pienso que todo empiesa por tener una buena imaginacion y poder dibujar las cosas en tu mente sin que en verdad esten frente de ti. Yo como compositor me enfoco mas en lo real que lo ficionista. En este album tengo muchas historias de mi vida real pero diariamente tengo gente que me manda e-mail o me para en la calle para contarme su vida y su historia personal y para el proximo cd pienso usar unas cuantas historias de esas.
