You girls are crazy....LOL...within 10 seconds of mentioning that my mom is an agent I had 4 PM's asking for flight info..... I have passed the info on...so stayed tuned for the "answers" LOL
It never hurts to shop around...even I have been "guilty" of buying tickets on line in stead of using my mom lol.....especially last minute cuz they were cheaper and on special.....you know....the kind of specials that last 30 seconds....LOL I find I travel 2000 pretty good....and definately WESTJET for local flights.... Some people still have a hard time trusting the internet or simply don't have time to shop around so they get a travel agent....

I just bought a ticket for my mom to go to Calgary, and I found prices were competitive both through travel agencies and going directly to airline websites (Tango & WestJet). Does it matter if flights are local or international? As for international, last package we got we did through Red Tag and we found a really, really good price.

Just for you to know, most of the airlines only give discount to their employees and direct family. But even the direct family and in case of frineds, have to travel with the employee to be able to enjoy the mega discount + you're mostly subject to avlty.
