EVERYBODY: Go buy a Laptop or something expensive RIGHT AFTER YOUR NEXT CC GAS PURCHASE!!
When your CC company calls, deny deny deny the laptop/additional purchases!

Thank God I was because we were talking about 24k mexican pesos, can you imagine ? <My bank from France called and asked QEF with you ? But I was able to prouve that I was not even there when they used it (they cloned it)
Take the insurance from the bank in case of robery, loss (perdida), or fraud. Te evitaras dolores de cabeza.

I just got a call from TD saying there were suspicious transactions coming from my account and that I have been robbed. They told me that someone in Montreal took $500 from my account last night and that an investigation was being put so that I could get my money back. That's all fine, but my account is frozen for 5 daysYou hear about this stuff, but you don't expect it to happen to you

wow! I'm with TD too. They have a new online service that guarantees a fuul refund in these cases. you might wanna install it if you do any banking online.
Thanks. I'm gonna check that out for sure, because online is how I do all my bill payments.

I've heard similar stories from about 5 people I know...
my new policy: NEVER EVER use your debit card ANYWHERE, EXCEPT your OWN BANKS' machine... even then, look for anything suspicious... I don't trust anyone with my credit/debit cards... use the card at the bank machine, pay cash at other places, specially gas stations.
