Apparently I am not latin enough sometimes, I ve been called Gringa..lol ..Yes I have a slight accent and it is difficult sometimes to express myself solely in spanish..does anyone else have that problem?!!?I can speak it and understand it..but you can still tell I am not "perfect"..  But I am learning...and I know for sure..my kids (when God (rgnfg) gives them) I will teach them to speak el espanol. At home with your familia what do you speak? english/spanish..spanglish? or anyother language?

That is the dilemma of the immigrant... you will be neither "canadian" nor "hispanic".

It's up to you to let it bother you or not.

I've heard the same garbage, for both languages, even though I know I speak/read/write at the highest level in both, more often than not, better than those that have lived all their lives in one language or the other.

Do the best to improve your spanish (and your english), and don't worry about the rest.
