Job Requirements: Purpose of the Position
To act as a video product specialist across platforms (online, interactive TV and mobile). Role includes responsibility for project management, including design, programming and technology of consumer and agency interactive video products. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and managing gaps in product's technical or functional capabilities, documenting and actively participating in all phases of execution. This position will be based in New York.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
• Prepares and maintains project schedule and plan for product improvement plans and tracks activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports as appropriate • Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project
• Responsible for identifying and managing gaps in product's technical or functional capabilities
• Responsible for ensuring issues are managed and product enhancement deliveries remain on target for cost, time and quality
• Responsible for performing internal and client tests as needed on the developed functionality
• Responsible for managing escalation procedures • Liaise with Editorial and specify video content requirements
• Responsible for producing online help, product information, client notification
Required Skills/Education
• Must have knowledge of various video platforms including open IP-based and proprietary cable and satellite networks
• Expertise in project management
• Understanding of television programming a plus
• Minimum of 2-3 years product management experience
