It's a shame and a rip off. Only good thing that I have found is that personally myself I drive alot slower then before. When gas was cheap I'd be driving 150-160 on avg. Now its like 110-120 kms. As for prices going up, all I know is that people are going to be commiting more scams at least I'll try.
I heard this speculation that because summer is just around the corner, gas prices are getting hiked up because they know more people are spending more time outdoors and travelling to cottages, camp sites, and what not. Hmmmm.........
I think this is a scam by the american gov, so that there ecomony will go up

"The price of diesel is ridiculous," said long-time bus driver Valerie Goodman. "For me if the price goes over $1.10 (a litre) I’ll have to park my van."
Analysts fear the prices will hit that and then some, possibly skyrocketing to the $1.50 a litre mark.
Other drivers appear resigned to the fact that they’re just going to have to pay whatever price the marquee reads.
"I can't (leave the car in the garage). It’s an hour’s drive to go to work," said John Hagithomas. "What am I going to do? I still got to do it. I will make less money (if prices continue to rise)."
Mark Prout also relies on his wheels to get to work.
"Being self employed, I am traveling all offer the place," he said. "This morning, to Barrie, then Alliston and then Oshawa."
The rising prices have prompted the Canadian Taxpayers Federation to call Stephen Harper on a proposal he made before being elected. While in opposition, the Tory chief proposed capping the GST charged on gasoline priced above $0.85 a litre.
Federation director John Williamson asked Harper to make cuts to gas taxes a "top priority" in the upcoming federa
