Nothing wrong with some Achey Breaky Heart, honky tonken', hoedown music. We in the country listen to Kenny Rogers and Reba McIntyre... nothing beats a good old line dance... YEE HAWWW!
@ Chale CULO FACE! The only reason I give you a weird look is because I'm trying to hold my breath midst the stank that is your vehicle... nothing to do with the music!
ANYWHOOOO... the answer your question JC, I do the same thing... I turn it down just before I pull into the building... my car is my personal space and I do as a please but when I come to work, I have to respect the work environment as well. Damn conservative mofos!
Sometimes when I turn on the car, the music is super loud and then Luna just kinda gives me this look like "what is that?? We honkeytonks dont listen to dem coloured music" Cuz you know, poor girl is whiter than a white mans behind.
I had a moment like that last summer .. i got to work early so i decided to stay in my car listening to some reggaeton .. all of a sudden 2 of my supervisors and 2 co workers come out .. they told me they came to see what was going on outside because the music was shaken the building
I've also had a semi embarassing moment where I've had to give a co-worker a ride to the bus stop and when I turned on my car the hip hop just blasted from my speakers I just quickly turned the volume down in a panic and put on Chum FM
Ok I have a question for you guys. I know I opened a thread a while ago about how different you act at work and out of work and there were some differences for most people. What I was wondering is do most people at your work know what type of music you like, and if you drive to work do you feel shy blasting your favorite song knowing other may hear?I know that for me I always turn down my music as I drive into my work complex. I listen to hip hop and spanish music in my car, but everyone at my work and the offices around me are white. I had an incident like 4 years ago when we worked at another complex just down the road and I had just started working at this office and I had my music blasting on the way in.That was the last time I did that to work because when I got out I had an awkward feeling that people were wondering "what kinda music is that?"
NOPE I LISTEN TO MY SALSA REGGEATON AND ALL AND REGGEA HERE AT WORK SOME OF THEM ARE LIKE OH MAN WHATS THAT HOW DO U DANCE IT OR THEY ARE LIKE "OH YEAH LATINA FLAVOUR" YES I AM THE ONLY LATIN PERSON WORKING HERE
Hahaha thats so funny but so TRUE! I listen to all types of music especially Hiphop/Trance/Reggae and others. Out of respect I just lower it not to feel awkard or 'un-professional'
