How about we just say that the majority of peruvians are brown....anyway does it really matter? No.  Oh and to me there are no "white" Latinos unless they are mixed with white like if one parent is from England, Germany, Ireland, and so on to me those are white. I prefer to say light skinned Latinos.

Anyway in regards to the thread....Yeah some bouncers are culos, but I guess they're just doing their job, but it wouldn't kill them to be nicer...well at least to the ladies. Personally I have never had a problem with a bouncer about the way that I was dressed, and I hope I never do, because that would suck.

yeah it really depends on the place....can't show up to a rockish place looking like a dressed up gina or something....you will look wack...

Not letting you in because of race is illegal in Canada.

They're free to discriminate on the basis of fashion sense though

ALL I CAN SAY IS WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO LET U IN OR NOT!! WEATHER ITS PERSONAL OR WE JUST FEEL LIKE BEING ASSHOLES!!! AT MAGNATE WE HAVE NIGHTS THAT WE ALLOW CERTAIN TYPES OF CLOTHING AND SATURDAYS U MUST BE DRESSED UP THATS JUST HOW IT IS!! HOWEVER ANYOTHER NIGHT IF ITS BUSY THEN WE DO BECOME PIKY IF ITS SLOW JUST ABOUT ANYONE CAN GET IN WITH A WARNING WE TELL THEM JUST THIS ONE TIME UR IN,

@GOD BEFORE U OPEN UR BIG MOUTH I THINK U SHOULD DO SOME RESEARCH CUZ MOST BOUNCERS ARE DOING IT FOR THE MONEY WHICH IS GOOD AND I CAN TELL U THAT ONE OF THE BOUNCERS AT MAGNATE IS A TEACHER/COUNCLOR BUT LOVES TO MAKE EXTRA MONEY THAT WONT INTERFERE WITH HIS LIFE!!! SO I WOULD THINK TWICE BEFORE U STEROTYPE PPL!!!

I agree with you 100%.

I've been to My Appartment in Toronto & Mississauga & I've personally never had any problems, but last time me & X went to My Appartment in mississauga (which was not to long ago) the crowed was a huge mix of everything you can think of: casual, dressy, punk, sluts, & even TONS of Cougars.

I'm so surprised they would treat your buddy so bad or for them to even act that tight. It's JUST "My Appt." the place is not all that or the crowed.

@El Duro awww @ a year ago BaBa's did have the BIGGEST PRICK as a bouncer, he was nice & all but I've seen him be so rude & mean to ppl. if he didn't like you.

He used to man handle the smallest guys for no good reason.  I used to treat him like SHIT cuz the owners would always let me in regardless of his rants. FACking bastard they finally fired his ASS - wooo hooo!! Anyhow he is one bouncer that deserved a drive by...too bad he left b4 he got one.

It is really bad that these situations happen to customers, when they are the ones who are given the profit to the business. However, would you be interested in giving your money to somebody who would treat you in that way? Good clubs galore in Toronto, where they have an appropriate dress code (not based on brands), and you don't have to be rejected by frivolous bouncers.

Ya I've seen that happen plenty of times. Most recently at Privilege like 3 weeks ago. I was in line and worried that I wouldn't get in cause I was wearing jeans and I didn't know the dress code. I saw a guy try to get in from VIP in the line in front and was not allowed in cause he jeans were too baggy. I got in just fine cause my jeans weren't falling below my knees

Sometimes they don't let you in 'cause you just look like a loser!!!!

Some establishments want to maintain a certain type of crowd.

Like it or not.....it's their prerogative.
