i was working from home and talking to my client then boom!!!! it was cool but eerie at the same time knowing the world (this modern world) can't go on without electricity. thank God (rgnfg) none of us were on foro back then or there would be mass suicides!!!!

I WAS AT WORK AND WE HAVE A BACK UP BATTER SO ODLY ENOUGH I WAS STILL HOOKED UP AND READING ON THE INTERNET LOL AND I WORKED AROUND THE CORNER FROM HOME SO I JUST LEFT WALKED HOME GOT SOME STUFF AND WALKED OVER TO MY AUNTS WHO LIVED 5 MIN AWAY WENT WITH HER TO GAUCHOS BOUGHT MEAT AND HAD AN AMAZING BBQ!!!! AND A BONFIRE
The only thing I hated about that day was the fact that it took me like 2 hours to get home and I didn't really eat because there was no food at home and Commisso's food sold out and the place was left clean. Other than that it was great hanging out with everyone that lived in my old building and finishing all the beers before they got warm.
Can you believe it's been almost 3 years since the BLACKOUT???!!! Thank God it was in the summer!!! How did you handle the blackout? What was the hardest thing for you?
i was at the hair dresser's downtown....under a blow dryer....
i left the hair salon with a "bag" on my head....i couldnt pay them since all i had was debit....i walked all the way to eglinton station (from downtown) since it was the only one with running buses....as i was almost there i got hit slightly by a car....due to the lack of traffic lights....lol....and the guy who hit me was a friend of mine so he gave me a ride home....talk about PERFECT TIMING!!!
