I know what you feel, I did that nasty habbit for about 15 years. I am still getting over it. I tried so many times, but failed. finally January 2005 I went on the patch. I won't lie and say that I haven't had a smoke since, however, other than my last vacation down south, I have not bought a pack since I finished the patch program. I have bummed a few but it's been a couple of months since my last one. I know that I may get tempted again and I know that I may fall, but I also know that I can live with out it, and it feels pretty good. Only you will know when is time to quit, but in the mean time you can do your best to cut it down. Keep it up, is not as hard now as I thought 2 years ago.
BTW, next time I see you.... can I bumm a smoke...I'm out

I know how you feel, I've been working on that too. And I'm down to 5 a day!
I brush my teeth. If I should not have a cig, then I brush my teeth. Electric brush. Either that or a mouthful of mouthwash. Heck, it works.
