I know, you really missed something

We couldn't stay for Barrio Cuba because this one was so fulfilling that it would have impacted us as much and we probably would have been desapointed, even if I am sure it was a really good documentary as well.

 

Ohhh, and did I mention the music, wowwwww, the music is amazing, a complete mix of reggae, rap, samba/salsa, batucada, rock...... balsting. BTW, all the money they are making out of all this goes straight into their association/foundation to take the kids out of the dark side of the Favela's life and give them hope and tools for a better future.

Did you knew that there are more than 600 Favelas in Rio ? When they started the shootage of the Doc. they were aprox 150 "druglords" just in their Favela (30k pple) and now they are barely 25. What an amazing job ! And all that whitout violance. the message is pass through education, music and making the pple responsible....
