I just use the antispyware software rogers gives its subscribers. I imagine sympatico/telus also have something along those lines.

spybot is great... i also run Adaware too to make sure it gets what Spybot doesn't (and vice versa).

If you're running Windows, go to Start --> Control Panel --> Remove/Add Software then try finding the name somehow of this program and delete it.

SpyBot will help you, it'll remove 95% of the spyware out there. It's very simple to use, just make sure you do an update(it's a big icon in the program) before running the scan.

Hi, listen, I've got this ANNOYING icon-thing in the notification area of my computer desktop's taskbar, that doesn't do shiat to either left or right clicking, and which says on a regular basis "Virus Alert!" and pops up regular messages to the effect that my computer has got something SOOOO bad that only THEIR product can cure it.

Bull crap (I know, I know) but HOW the F@CK do I get RID OF this piece of sh@t???

I CAN'T TAKE IT AYMORE!

I KNOW my computer is NOT infected!!!

You hear me, you piece of insensitive, notification are of the task bar, motherf@cker icon????!!!!
