You don't need to know someone for a long time to know if is your friend, a friend is a person that will alwyas be there for you, on the good times and the bad times, she/he will be there for you no matter what, I think this is a truly meaning of a friend

It takes me awhile before I consider someone a friend.


I have always had more male friends then female friends.  The female friends I have I am very very very close with but there are not many.  I just find men judge less and are less complicated.

Nowadays, we don't have such thing as "friends", and if you think you do there's only a few... A "friend" is there with you when u need him/her and when you don't need him/her.. u know right away who's your friend... and if you don't time will tell

A friend is someone that will always be there for you, regardless the situation and the ups and downs that can emerge between you 2.

I can count my true true friends in one hand ... but yeah people come and go in  your life for many reasons and seasons ... but only you know and can feel who your true friends are ... they are there no matter what and accept you for who you are not what you are or what you can do for them ...

 Some people seem to have the misconception that everyone is their friend just cause they've met them and chilled with them a couple of times.  Like Preci said, my good friends can be counted on one hand. Then there are some friends,who I may not consider as close as others, we respect each other, we have confided in each other but to a certain extent.  And I have many acquaintances, but a lot of times people cant differentiate between the two.

This whole freindship topic gets real touchy too sometimes. Different people live through different experiences and that leads them to believe so many different versions of what friendships are.


This is for the guys especially....if you've ever cried in front of one of your boys and they gave you a simple hand on the shoulder. That's a sign of friendship....shows you someone is concerned for you. Nowadays guys seem to be a little too macho to even tell their own friends that you love them. Expressing appreciation for someone isn't a bad thing at all!
