I love Roti and Curry Chicken....I crave it here and there..but when i satisfy that craving its soooooooooooo satisfying...mmmmmmmmmmmm YUMM YUMM... I like eating it with Rice and peas... THere are many West Indian restaraunts that i eat at in Brampton...the food is so tasty..
The Best Roti that you can buy is just off of Finch, south of Steeles by Wild Water kingdom called Alima's .....amazing. If you havent tried it...you will love it. From a Trini perspective it is THE BEST.
I love curry! Last summer my girlfirend and I went to Thailand for over three weeks and we ate mostly curry. It was awesome. There are some many different types of curry so that if you don't like one flavour, you might like another. So don't give up after just trying one. While in thailand we also took a Thai cooking course, so now we make authentic thai food when we want. I highly recommend it.
Guys, major RBTL here! Neruda's inviting Foro to his place and he and his GF are going to cook Thai food for us! Whoo-hoo! Can't wait!

Little India is two minutes from MY work. I'll try anything, though. Damn, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

Well, only if you add it but many times it is not necessary, if not your meal will loose all its taste

Maybe I'm lost or I don't cook but where do you get that Ecua food is all fried??? I'm very, very Ecua & my house is flawless of any smell.......ever. We cook pretty much all ecua food, so I don't seem to understand. No if we do fish my cook it on our deck/bbq. so we still get no smell.
I think you've been cooking with perfume.
You're supposed to use oil.

Roti's bread? No kidding? I never knew. I'm telling you, I'm an Indian food virgin, and quite horny, I might add.
The restaurant is at Queen and Simcoe, called Little India.

shut up!
@Princessa right...Indians don't think their food smells either that is my point....
My ex of 6 years was from there and i tell you almost everytime I went to his house and his mom was cooking my mom would complain about the smell on my clothes! It wasn't just her either my friends would pick me up and say the same thing. How many times did I try and get my mom to have some food from Ecuador...she just could not stand it and I LOVE IT!!
My husband doesn't even understand what fried plantian is all about. He is from Argentina and has only ever eaten Italian food...that is another story...
Salvis don't think pupusas smell bad either but lots of people think they do...
You get my point......

@ Chile, you can find the Curry Chips at Shoppers Drug Mart and I think i saw them at Fortinos (which means other grocery stores might have them too). They aren't as common to find as the Wasabi ones, those u can find in most convenience stores.
@PJ: i LOOOOVE butter chicken!!!
@ Phanta: LB has F'd this one up... her title has definitely been forfeited.
